תיאור הקורס

הנגשה לשונית הינה תפיסה לפיה מערכות ציבוריות מספקות אמצעים לקבלת שירות וטיפול עבור פונים מקבוצות מיעוט לשוניות, לשם קבלת שירות שוויוני ואיכותי. אמצעים להנגשה לשונית כוללים, למשל, מתן שירות בשפת הפונה, שילוט רב-לשוני, שיחה באמצעות מתורגמנים מקצועיים ועוד. תפיסת ההנגשה הלשונית קיימת במדינות מערביות מזה ארבעים שנה, מכוח חקיקה, רגולציות, פסקי דין או תפיסת המדינה כרב-תרבותית ורב-לשונית. בקורס יידונו ההשלכות של היעדר הנגשה לשונית על יחידים וקבוצות לשוניות ויוצגו תיאוריות ומודלים להנגשה לשונית מהעולם ומישראל – בעיקר בתחום הבריאות, המשפט והחינוך. דיון נוסף יוקדש למתווכים הלשוניים והתרבותיים במגזר הציבור – המתורגמנים הקהילתיים.

מרכיבי הציון:

השתתפות פעילה 10%

רפראט 20% – הצגת מאמר בנושא הקורס, כולל ניתוח ביקורתי של הטקסט.

עבודה מסכמת 70% – יש להגיש העבודה לא יאוחר מתאריך 20/2/2014.
